Dams, lawyers, farmers, saw mills, Thoreau, and the civil war all share the stage in the drama of the meandering Sudbury River and its nutrient-rich banks.
Thorson’s research of Thoreau’s voluminous and groundbreaking recordings exposes us to new facets of the wilds of the river we all love.
